About me

Ansel Adams: “You don’t take a photograph, you make it.”

Taking pictures is just one part of my artistic work. “Making the picture” does not only mean to me to give thought to the perfect composition, settings and scenery. It’s much more than that. The raw image is only the starting point for my “making” process. I invest lots of time digitally editing a picture until I feel that I have created a one-of-a-kind and memorable photograph that has not been seen before.

Moreover, when you stroll through my pages, you’ll discover that I often love to combine two types of photography, e.g. travel and portrait shots in my Venice section or nature and the supernatural in my ICM section.

Thus, my photography style is all about depicting people, cities and nature in an imaginative, colorful and unusual way and combining the nice and beautiful in one picture.

But I won’t bore you any further with my words – simply have a look at my photographs and you’ll literally see what I mean… .
